ETU Coaches Seminars

Following the decision that the ETU Council Meeting took on 30 April 2014 in Baku, ETU Coaches Seminars will be held from autumn 2014 and hereafter.

The purpose of these Seminars is to improve the educational skills of Coaches all around Europe by expertise personnel, so that the quality of our sport will be advanced. It is essential to clarify that these license courses are obligatory for those coaches –trainers who want to coach in a G status Tournament (G1, European Champs etc). The course fee that each coach has to pay, is 200€ and the duration of validation of the license will be two years.

With beginning of 2015 trainers coaching without ETU Coach License will have to pay a fine for each tournament which will exceed the course fee.

The scheduled Seminars so far are:

1)     5-6-7 Sept. 2014-Corfu Island/Greece (OUTLINE on Event-page

2)     16-17 Sept. 2014-Jerusalem/Israel (OUTLINE on Event-page)

3)     31.10.-2.11. 2014- Dusseldorf/Germany (OUTLINE on Event-page)

The outline of these Seminars will be send to all Federations and published in ETU’s calendar in due time.

Should you have any questions regarding the Seminars, please do not hesitate to contact ETU via telephone 0030- 211 2144717 or email etuoffice(at)mail.gr

Taekwondo Data Now Free For All

The Taekwondo Data database is now freely accessable for any user - no registration, no password. Feel free to search for international Taekwondo competitors and list all of their fights and results.

From next year on ETU will use seeding for the best four (A-Class tournaments) and the best eight (European Taekwondo Championships for Seniors) competitors to make sure that the best fighters will meet as early as in the quarter- or semifinals.
