Ritz Milner hotel – reasonable prices for modern rooms in the heart of Los Angeles

Best Things About Ritz Milner hotel:
It is a beautiful old building with marble everywhere. Even the hallways were lined with marble. It is located on South Flower Street, The financial district of Los Angeles (find on map –
Resort Experience:
We had a spacious (for the inner city) unit on the corner of the Ritz Milner hotel. The views of the city were great. The unit was very well kept and well decorated. Closet space was small but adequate. The mini-kitchen was well appointed. More additional information I got acquainted at site: The complimentary daily continental breakfasts were good and well maintained. They were on the rooftop with great views.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I don’t really like having to use valet parking, but the attendants were punctual and courteous. We even attended a birthday bash for the manager one afternoon when we went to the rooftop to see the view and stumbled on the celebration. The staff insisted that we stay for the band and refreshments. They welcomed us like we were a part of them. Thats why a wrote my well-wishing review here –
It is only 5 blocks to the waterfront and seaport village shops. Also, this is a severely undervalued place points-wise. We stayed a week in a one-bedroom unit for 28,500 points. It is definitely worth much more. We had read reviews that it was noisy but had no problems with it. We had spent the week prior in San Francisco, near Union Square, and it was very noisy compared to this place. We highly recommend the Gaslamp Suites to anyone who wants to visit San Diego.

An incredible but so exhaustion Los Angeles vacation at the Kawada Hotel

Los Angeles can be, if you let it, an exhausting vacation. The Kawada Hotel is a very welcome respite from that exhaustion. For a very reasonable price (about $115 a night if you look around, you get an incredibly comfortable room in a great part of town.
Located two blocks from Bunker Hill, it offers quick access to just about any part of the city. The Financial District is just down the street (the hotel also has a Mon-Fri shuttle).
More important than the location, however, is the Kawada hotel itself. I don’t typically feel all too comfortable in “upscale” hotels – they’re usually too stuffy for me. The hotel, however, was a very welcome exception to this rule. The staff made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. Upon check-in, they reminded me of their evening wine reception. This is a really nice touch – it gives you a chance to try out different Napa Valley wines (your room may be named after one of them – look for it) while relaxing in front of the fireplace.
Remember, this is Los Angeles hotel – the rooms are not going to be the largest you’ve ever stayed in. But here, they’re very well designed and make good use of the space they’re given. For example, the sink was very tastefully placed behind a separate set of doors outside of the bathroom (some my photos
The beds are among the most comfortable that I’ve experienced in a hotel. The comforter was warm without being overbearingly hot and the mattress had an extra feather cushion on top.
I think one of the upscale chains calls them “heavenly beds”. I don’t care what they call it – I want one at home!
As with hotels in all big cities, I try and request a room on one of the upper floors to get away from the street noise. I forgot that this time and realized, once again, how early the garbage haulers actually start in the morning. With the window closed, however, the noise level was no problem.
One more really nice touch was an electric air filter in my room. I don’t know if there was one in every room, but mine had it. Not something I would have thought of myself, but a definite bonus.
Even if it weren’t for the great location, I’ll definitely go out of my way to stay at the Kawada Hotel whenever I’m in Los Angeles. So if you want to do it with me, book in avance here –,Nearby-Hotels.

How to spend time with saving your money at Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort, Palm Beach

Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort is on the northeastern tip of Aruba Island and is the newer part of the Caribian complex. We had a two bedroom second floor unit facing the ocean in one of the two pink four story buildings. It was spacious, clean and well appointed with ceramic tile flooring, plenty of drawers and closet space, a Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom and a large balcony overlooking the beach and surf. I made a lot of fotos of my room and overlooking

In times of good weather, there is enough to keep one busy for a week at Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort. There are three pools in the complex and of course the beach is right at your front door with excellent snorkeling mere steps into the gentle turquoise surf. Both David’s and Mimi’s Dockside offer delicious meals, Mimi’s being the more casual of the two restaurants.
Red Sail Sports have a variety of water craft for rent right at Divi Dutch Village as well as offering scuba diving, sailing and snorkeling excursions departing right from the dock at Morritt’s or from their Rum Point location, a short shuttle run or drive away. I took with me a lot of money for all landmarks because I found a price list of this resort at this place

Exercise classes in the pool and at the gym are given at select times during the week and daily there are fun social activities and games for those who are spending the week at the resort. There is a kids club for those who need more than just sun, surf and sand. DVD’s can be rented, but these often are not available until 8 pm as they are not kept on site and need to be preordered. (The one time we did try one, it turned out to be a poor quality copy.) Wi-Fi is available in your unit for a $7 per day charge or you can use the Internet in the resort lobby for $2.50 per hour (half price if you are an owner.)

Within walking distance there is a small plaza with a Fosters Foods Express, a store selling beach clothing and souvenirs, and a bakery serving light breakfast and lunch. You can purchase most food items at Fosters, however their selection is smaller than that of other grocery stores on the island, although happily, the prices are equivalent.

Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort the Thirsty Surfer sells alcohol, again with competitive prices. This resort also has some restaurants if you had no vehicle, were not in a cooking unit and wanted something different than the two eating establishments at Morritt’s. Also available is shuttle service to other restaurants that are a bit of a drive from Oranjestad. This is the best place for traveling with family, book room in advance here and enjoy themselves.

Completely complimentary snacks at supervisor’s Cocktailparty every single Thursday.I’ve read some reviews with photos here:

Hyatt Place Cityview in Fort Worth – is this hotel only for busy people?

Classy, unpretentious, and prompt staff makes guests of feel at home.
Service is impeccable classy but not pretentious a remarkable feat for a city where service is typically snobby at best and standoffish at worst. The Hyatt Place Fort Worth Cityview Hotel defies smug stereotypes, though I did giggle a little when the staff referred to me with an honorific “Ms.”

Clad in a sharp suit and tie, Igor was the first person I encountered at the front desk. He introduced himself like a friend, not a hotel employee cranking guests in an out. Casual, engaging and conversational, he genuinely made me feel at home and even cracked a cute joke or two when he saw me scanning the impressive DVD collection of the American Film Institute’s Top 100 (Citizen Cane, Bonnie and Clyde, Rocky, Pulp Fiction, does it get any better?). “You’re in Fort Worth! I hope you don’t spend the night watching DVDs! But if it helps put you to sleep, I’d forgive you,” he told me.

The bellmen were nimble with my bags, taxis, and doors.

A call to room service for extra towels yielded the goods in two minutes flat and the requested soy milk for my coffee in the second floor reading room appeared within seconds.

The hotel offers a turn down service. I returned to my room after only a few minutes away and found the bed neatly turned down, the blinds closed and the lights on.

I loved the chocolates the staff left on the pillow along with a note with the next day’s weather (rainy and 43°F, brrr).
Small and classy rooms at Hotel Hyatt Place Fort Worth Cityview, featuring Egyptian-cotton sheets, bamboo, and luxe bath products. Upgrade to avoid being near the dinging elevator, especially if you`re staying there for working purpose, or simply book a room on, they provide only quiet rooms.

My room, 1100.004 all rooms are organized in Dewey decimal system, it’s the Hyatt Place Fort Worth Cityview Hotel, get it? was a tiny 200 square feet. The next size up, the deluxe with a queen bed, is only 250 square feet, followed by a junior suite with a king bed, which is 350 square feet.

But to be fair, 200 square feet in Fort Worth is pretty average. Though I’ve seen closets more luxurious than my shoebox room, I grew fond of its smart, classy, understated character. But maybe that was just the 660-page tome “How the Mind Works”, by Harvard professor Steven Pinker, haunting me from above the TV (my room had a psychology theme).

Details matter in this 60-room Hyatt Place Fort Worth Cityview, right down to the European and American converted electrical sockets in my wall, a small vase of bamboo on my desk, ironed Egyptian cotton sheets on my bed, an iHome iPod docking station adjacent to my bed, and the Thymes bath products in my (squint eyes here) very small but functional bathroom.

The view outside the Hotel Hyatt Place Cityview was open enough to let in good natural light, but not so open that I had a view of any landmark buildings. Granted, the building across the street so close that I could see someone inputting data into an Excel spreadsheet (far less interesting than watching someone play around on Facebook during work hours).

To sum up, I want to tell that the hotel is designed for businessmen, not for adventurers. If you are planning an interesting vacation, book anything else. In case you are planning meetings there – check the, because they offer first class meetings!
